Androgynous Skeleton

Androgynous Skeleton evokes the raw structure of a body — yet it belongs to no specific gender, no known species. Flowing curves and hollowed voids suggest a masculine pelvis, a feminine sex organ, a spine or limbs - all merging into a single form that feels more primal, more symbolic.
The piece holds both masculine strength and feminine softness, suspended in perfect tension. It feels at once prehistoric and futuristic - like the remains of a forgotten ancestor or a visitor from a different dimension.
Carved from a single block of olive wood, the sculpture preserves the grain and natural spirit of the tree, allowing its essence to breathe through the form. The entire surface was carefully sanded by hand, progressing from rough 60-grit to ultra-fine 600-grit sandpaper - revealing the delicate textures and sensual flow of the wood.
Each angle reveals a new identity - a creature, a movement, or an open-ended question.
