This artwork was created using the Unmaskit technique I developed, combined with an approach inspired by the world of kinetic art.
The dunes were cut with free-flowing movements and painted in soft rose gold and bronze tones, to create the effect of sunlight breaking across burning sand.
At the center of the piece is a setting sun, its core rendered as a fiery vortex.
The sky above was constructed through precise cutting and layering, forming an illusion of opposing, floating motions - like fractals drifting in the sky against the wind.
The warm desert Sirocco wind, blowing from the south, meets broken mathematical patterns arriving from the cold north - a collision of ancient and modern, wild and refined.
Painted with premium acrylic and spray paint on 12mm plywood, 60x50 cm.
